Body defects can be corrected through transplanting natural fat

In Armenia so far only 40 people have undergone regenerative plastic surgery, as announced by Gagik Stamboultsyan, director of Avan Guard medical center. Plastic regenerative surgeries allow correction of body defects through transplanting fat from the same body. Such surgeries help to make hands, neck and face younger, correct scars, as well as make breasts and other parts of the body bigger. According to Mr. Stamboultsyan, this technology of plastic surgery was imported into Armenia in 2013, and such surgeries are done in Armenia only at Avan Guard medical center. According to him, the prices of plastic surgeries that are done with fat from the same body are almost the same as the prices of other plastic surgeries.

This type of surgery helps to make breasts bigger through transplanting fat from the same body as opposed to transplantation of prosthetic implants. Mr. Stamboulstyan says that this type of surgery may even cost cheaper as the price of prosthetic parts is not paid. According to this technology, surgeries are done through separating fat from undesirable areas of the same body, which is used to separate a part with regenerative ability, which is used to enrich the fat intended for implantation. According to Mr. Stamboultsyan, such surgeries may last 1-4 hours, depending on the type of the surgery.
