Serzh Sargsyan and Levon Ter-Petrosyan Have Met
President Serzh Sargsyan unexpectedly met with Levon Ter-Petrosyan, opposition leader and former President, on Saturday to discuss Armenia’s response to the escalation of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. The meeting was initiated by Levon Ter-Petrosyan.
The conversation, which lasted for about an hour, solely applied to the recent events on the Karabakh-Azerbaijani border and forthcoming developments anticipated in the Karabakh negotiation process. They also discussed the need for a national consolidation in the face of those challenges. The meeting took place at Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s house.
