Great Opportunities Emerged to Extend Cooperation: Artsvik Minasyan

After Iran was unsanctioned great opportunities have emerged to extend the cooperation. Artsvik Minasyan, RA Minister of Economy, stated this at the INVEST ARMENIA 2016 international entrepreneurial conference launched today.

“Firstly organization and export of joint production in Armenia, as well as direct engagement of Armenian companies in Iranian market should be implemented. Out of this, we proposed the Iranian party a list of products, so that lowered tax tariff was defined. It’ll allow the Armenian products to enter Iranian market with low tax tariffs. Besides that, we also offered, that Armenia was observed as a space for centralization of Iranian and European capital, providing the opportunity to establish joint enterprises in participation with European technologies and Iranian capital,” Artsvik Minasyan said. According to him, exhibition of Armenian products in Iran, and of Iranian products in Armenia is anticipated in near future.

In his words, 5 IT enterprises have already entered Iranian market and operate successfully. According to the Minister, steps in the field of tourism are also important to undertake.

In particular, beneficial conditions should be created for tourists visiting Armenia from Iran. It’s planned to cancel the fee for cars coming to Armenia from Iran.
