China to Make Serious Investments in Armenia

Representatives of Heilongjiang Province are going to implement serious investment projects in Armenia, boost export, as well as support educational programs. At today’s press conference Secretary General of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade of the Heilongjiang Province of the People’s Republic of China, Head of the Department of International Economic Relations Guan He Bin said he visited wonderful Armenia for the first time and throughout three days managed to have lots of meetings and he’s impressed from communication with Armenians.

“City with old story and kind people. I think both living and working in Armenia is rather interesting,” Guan He Bin said.

In his words, numerous cooperation projects may be implemented between Armenia and China’s largest Heilongjiang Province with the population of 38 million. He stated that during the meetings in RA Ministry of Economy an agreement has been reached to organize mutual visits of reporters to get more information, “Armenia is a new market for us, we need to first of all get acquainted with one other.”

Head of the Council for International Business Relations Support Mariam Manukyan informed that reporters will arrive Armenia in the period of October 1-4, who will make reports about Armenia, “Our Chinese partners are interested in tourism, agriculture, services, IT.”

According to M.Manukyan he Chinese are interested to invest in Armenia to found enterprises of processing of agricultural products, maybe they’ll also donate buses to Armenia, exhibitions will be launched, in particular, Armenian businessmen will be provided free pavilions at the exhibition to be held in September in China.
