The program on extension of ANPP is being developed: ANPP General Director
Armenian NPP launched implementation of programs on planned repair and extension of its exploitation. Movses Vardanyan, Acting General Director of ANPP, told reporters today. According to him, it’s planned that the block will be under repair for 67 days—until November 25, which has been agreed with the Commission.
“Upon programs of ongoing year 100% inspection of the whole reactor facility is planned. In that period, of course, we’ll submit grounding to the regulatory body for extension of the lifespan, to have a permit until May 2017,” M.Vardanyan said.
