Hovik Abrahamyan hasn’t stepped down as ruling party vice president
The Republican Party HQ hasn’t received a withdrawal application from the party’s vice president Hovik Abrahamyan, RPA Organizing Committee chairman Ruben Tadevosyan told “Armenpress,” commenting on media reports regarding Abrahamyan’s withdrawal from the ruling party.
“The Republican Party of Armenia doesn’t have such information. As of this moment we haven’t received a withdrawal application from Hovik Abrahamyan,” he said.
Some media reports earlier said former PM Abrahamyan, the current vice president of the ruling party, was unhappy over negotiations regarding his political future and he has decided to quit the party.
