Global economy to face deficit of agricultural products: EEC Board Chairman
Deficit of agricultural products is expected in the global economy in the upcoming 20 years, which means that the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) has great potential to develop its markets, Tigran Sargsyan – Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) told Lenta.ru within the frames of the 21 st St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, reports Armenpress. He said the most discussed issues in today’s negotiation process relate to export and import of agricultural products.
Tigran Sargsyan stated that the goods produced in EAEU member states are recognized in the market, and the fact that the agricultural sector of those states develops at a very high pace, speaks about broader opportunities to increase supplies.
