Circumstances of stabbing minor resident of Gyumri found

In the result of necessary investigatory and other procedural actions conducted in Akhuryan Investigative Division of Shirak Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of stabbing minor resident of Gyumri were found, the person having committed the alleged crime was identified.

On February 20, 2018 at 16:20 a call was received from «Austrian Hospital of Mother and Child of Gyumri» CJSC informing that a minor resident of Gyumri with diagnoses of «lacerated, bleeding wound on the back surface of the left wrist» turned to hospital for medical aid.

A criminal case was initiated according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code preliminary investigation of which is conducted in Shirak Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.

In the framework of the criminal case the minor resident of Gyumri was found an injured party.

In the result of measures taken in the framework of the criminal case it was found that the minor resident had sustained the bodily injuries during the argument with another minor that took place on February 20, 2018 at about 16:00 at the railway crossing of Gyumri-Arevik road. The latter was identified, he is also a resident of Gyumri.

Through inspection of the site the knife which was the crime tool was found and confiscated, forensic medical and criminological examinations were commissioned. Preliminary investigation is ongoing, measures are taken to find all circumstances of the case, to provide the comprehensive, complete and objective investigation.
