Charge pressed for stabbing 25 year-old Man, criminal case sent to court

In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Shengavit administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee circumstances of stabbing 25 year-old young man were found out, charge was pressed against 22 year-old young man.

Through preliminary investigation actual data were obtained on the allegation that on November 26, 2017 at about 01:40 a row erupted between a group people over making comments on making a noise in the yard of one of the houses in G. Nzhdeh Street. During the argument the 22 year-old resident stabbed the young man, born in 1993, on the left part of his chest inflicting heavy bodily damages.

On the base of the evidence obtained during pretrial proceeding charge was pressed against 22 year-old young man according to the Part 1 of the Article 112 of RA Criminal Code. Detention was chosen as a pretrial measure against him.

Preliminary investigation was completed and the criminal case with the bill of indictment was sent to court.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
