45 year-old woman’s body found; criminal case initiated

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on 45 year-old L. Khachatryan’s death.

On the morning of October 25, 2018 a call was received in Arabkir division of the Police informing that there was a woman’s body under Davtashen bridge.

The investigatory-operative group immediately left for the scene and through inspection of the scene the body of the resident of Yerevan L. Khachatryan, born in 1973, with numerous injuries was found under Davtashen bridge – in the place called Hrazdan gorge.

A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Arabkir administrative district of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee according to the Part 1 of the Article 110 of RA Criminal Code. Forensic medical examination of the body was commissioned.

Necessary investigatory actions are conducted to find out all circumstances of the woman’s death.

Note; Everyone charged with alleged crime offence shall be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law.
