Number of traffic accidents with fatal outcomes is dropping significantly

A significant decrease in the number of traffic accidents with fatal outcome has been recorded in January 2018 against the previous year’s same month, according to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

“True, the number of accidents and resulting injuries has grown, but we’ve also had an unprecedented growth in the number of vehicles in 2018. Even the most minor accidents are categorized in the number of traffic accidents and resulting injuries, therefore it makes sense to highlight the number of fatalities. In this context the dynamics is encouraging,” Pashinyan said on Facebook.
