Yes, I asses the visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran very important and very successful. I also plan to pay an official visit to Brussels on Monday to discuss future steps with our partners from the EU.

We have an abundant foreign policy agenda for the near future. We are also the chairing country of the Eurasian Economic Union and one of the sessions will take place in Yerevan. One of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council meetings will also take place in Yerevan. It’s important that we use all this foreign policy agenda for the goals of our economic revolution. I know that you also have had some meetings during this period that can be placed in this logic. And it’s also important to combine our information in order to make the future process of agreements more effective’.

‘I also have much to tell you, Mr. Prime Minister. Of course, you already know, but I would like to provide some extra details particularly over my last 2 visits.  The 1st one was to France, where the 90th plenary session of the Armenian General Benevolent Union took place, and I attended it. During that session some structural changes occurred in the organization. The Benevolent Union is one of our most important national organizations of the Diaspora. During this period I held a number of meetings in Paris in line with our previous discussions – for the assistance of Armenia’s economic development and new technologies. I held meetings with major French companies – Thales, Dassault and so on.

My next visit was to Munich, the Security Conference, in the sidelines of which there were a number of political meetings. In addition, I held meetings at Heidelberg University, Munich Technical University, Max Planck Institute. Those meetings were also aimed at transforming Armenia into a modern technological country and foster the rapid economic growth of our country. So we have a lot to discuss’, Armen Sarkissian added.
