“By what means, by what pledge will the transaction be made?” asked Khazhakyan on the purchase of Beeline by Yesayan brothers

The head of the Luys faction of the Yerevan Council of the Elders, Davit Khazhakyan, made a post on his Facebook page, referring to the information that “Team” LLC has started negotiations to acquire the Beeline brand.

Recently we have learned that the newly established “Team” LLC has started negotiations with “Veon Armenia” on a possible deal to acquire the Beeline brand. On the initiative of Hayk and Alexander Yesayans, who left Ucom, SCPEC is considering the issue of purchase.

The possible price of the “Veon Armenia” deal by “Team” LLC is USD 60,000,000 according to various estimates, and if there is a down payment for starting the process, then there is also the corresponding amount or at least the expectation of receiving it. Given that we are talking about redistribution in the field of telecommunications, I think maximum transparency should be ensured and the public should know how the transaction will be carried out. If it is a loan, then on what guarantee or on what basis does the bank provide these funds to the newly established organization, which, although has a good reputation, does not have such resources in the context of its size?

Given the strategic nature of the issue, I would like to draw the attention of the media and law enforcement to this process, and I expect “Team” LLC to clarify what its financial resources are and on what basis or with what collateral they will receive a loan.
