Opposition Prosperous Armenia faction head Gagik Tsarukyan has been stripped of parliamentary immunity.
The results of the closed-format voting were announced.
87 MPs voted in favor of launching criminal proceedings against Tsarukyan. No MP voted against.
During today’s session in the Parliament Prosecutor General Artur Davtyan presented the motion on approving to launch criminal proceedings and press charges against MP Gagik Tsarukyan.
Earlier opposition Prosperous Armenia and Bright Armenia factions announced that they will not take part in the voting.
