The awards is presented by Airports Council International (ACI) World and is based exclusively on independent and direct passenger feedback collected through standardized surveys.

Zvartnots International Airport was recognized among the winners in the category of airports serving 5–15 million passengers annually, a group that included a total of 39 airports across Europe.
