Burnt body with cut-pierced injuries found, criminal case initiated
A criminal case was initiated in the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee on murder – on burnt body found in Silikyan district.
On May 17, 2018 a call was received informing that there was a burnt body in the pit – on the way to the cemetery from 3d village.
The investigatory-operative group immediately left for the scene. During the inspection of the scene an unidentified male’s body burnt and tied with a metal wire was found in the pit on the left part of the second section of the cemetery in front of stone workshop near the house 4, alley 1 of the third street of Silikyan district. Through inspection cut-pierced injuries were also found on the neck of the body.
A criminal case was initiated in the RA IC Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department according to the Part 1 of the Article 104 of RA Criminal Code on murder, an investigatory plan was worked out and necessary investigatory and operative-searching measures of great volume are taken to identify the body and to find the circumstances of murder. Forensic medical examination was commissioned.
Pursuant to initial data, the victim – 25-30 years old, was a man of average body and had a designed beard. Through inspection of the body several tattoos were found on the body, particularly octagon tattoos were found on shoulders, a portrait like Jesus – on the right wrist, stars – on the right and left knees.
The photos of the tattoos found on the victim’s body are publicized and those who recognize or have any information about the victim’s identity are asked to turn to the Investigative Division of Ajapnyak and Davtashen administrative districts of Yerevan Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee.
