Director and storekeeper of “Neuropsychological Care House of Vardenis” SNCO arrested

In the framework of the criminal case investigated in the Investigative Division of Gegharkunik Regional Investigative Department of the RA Investigative Committee the director and storekeeper of “Neuropsychological Care House of Vardenis” SNCO were arrested.

On July 18, 2018 the criminal case initiated in the police on apparent abuses committed in “Neuropsychological Care House of Vardenis” SNCO of the RA Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs was received in the RA Investigative Committee and sent to the RA IC Vardenis Investigative Division of Gegharkunik Regional Investigative Department according to investigatory subordination. On the same day it was received in the proceeding and urgent investigatory actions were conducted to find the circumstances of the case.

Pursuant to data obtained through investigation SNCO director A. Harutyunyan reaching prior agreement with the storekeeper of the same SNCO V. Nalbandyan sold 1260 kg beef of the meat product provided to the SNCO and they did not enter the money to the account of organization.

Besides, from June 1 to July 17, 2018 about 3.569 l of milk received from the livestock farm of the same organization was also sold and again the money was not entered to the account of organization. Pursuant to initial data, the damage caused by swindling is 3.069.940 AMD.

On July 19, 2018 the director of “Neuropsychological Care House of Vardenis” SNCO Artak Harutyunyan and storekeeper Vahagn Nalbandyan were arrested.

Preliminary investigation is ongoing, measures are taken to disclose other possible abuses, to restore the damage caused.
