Heavy snowfalls forecast in Armenia
Heavy snowfalls are expected in a number of provinces of Armenia, according to chief meteorologist Gagik Surenyan.
He said heavy snowfalls are forecast from Monday evening until early morning Tuesday in the mountainous areas of Aragatsotsn, Kotayk, Vayots Dzor and Syunik provinces and in the Gegharkunik province.
Surenyan, the Director of the Meteorological Center under the Ministry of Emergency Situations, advised motorists of black ice on the roads and snowstorms in individual regions.
