The world of motorsport is celebrating excellent news: Kimi Prost — son of renowned driver Nicolas Prost and grandson of the legendary four-time Formula 1 champion Alain Prost — has joined the Armenian team GoroyanRT.

Kimi shared the exciting news with his followers, writing: “I am incredibly proud and happy to wear the colors of GoroyanRT and represent my Armenian roots.” In his post, the young driver also expressed his sincere gratitude to the team’s founder, Artur Goroyan.

Continuing a Glorious Motorsport Dynasty

For the Prost family, auto racing is not just a sport, but a long-standing tradition that now continues on a new level:

• Alain Prost (Grandfather): The famous four-time Formula 1 champion whose name is written in golden letters in the history of world motorsport. Alain has always proudly embraced his Armenian roots on his mother’s side, stating: “I don’t speak Armenian, but I am Armenian, and that’s the most important thing.”
• Nicolas Prost (Father): A successful professional driver who achieved major victories in Formula E and the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race, and also worked as an official test and development driver for the Lotus F1 Team. Nicolas is an active member of the Armenian diaspora and pays close attention to supporting Armenia’s sports initiatives.
• Kimi Prost (Son): A representative of the younger generation of the famous dynasty. He will now defend the colors of the Armenian team GoroyanRT, continuing the family legacy.

The GoroyanRT team, founded on the initiative of Artur Goroyan in 2023, is developing rapidly and attracting world motorsport stars to its ranks.
