Tert.am: I do not Plan to Initiate Such a Meeting: Robert Kocharyan
To the question by Tert.am, if an analogous meeting as between the incumbent president Serzh Sargsyan and the first president of Armenia Levon Ter-Petrosyan took place on 9 April is planned, the second president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan said,
“I do not plan to initiate such a meeting. In light of the events and taking into consideration the experience accumulated at a heavy price, presently it is more important to resolve the issue of providing the army with modern weaponry with no delay, as soon as possible to adapt combat and tactical training of personnel to the new conditions, ” he said.
