Arsenal Proposes £ 58 million for Henrikh Mkhitaryan
Arsenal is seriously interested in Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Borussia Dortmund midfielder and captain of the Armenian National Team, offering £ 58 million (about USD 85 million) for his transfer.
The information has been available from Russian sources of 168.am (as already known, one of the shareholders of Arsenal is Russian Alisher Usmanov).
A week ago, Bild reported, that Chelsey intends to see Mkhitaryan in its squad, and is ready to pay EUR 60 million.
Noteworthy enough, 2-3 months ago, transfer of the Armenian footballer cost EUR 28 million, however, as a result of his significant game, the price was doubled.
Throughout the last year, according to various media outlets, besides Chelsey and Arsenal, Juventus and PSG were also interested in the footballer.
Mkhitaryan’s contract with Borussia is valid until 2017, however, if rather high price is offered, it’s not excluded that the Club will agree to leave the well-known footballer.
