Serzh Sargsyan Accepts Gevorg Kostanyan’s Resignation

Prosecutor General of Armenia Gevorg Kostanyan informed the Board members that due to healthcare problems he asked the Armenian President to accept his resignation from the post of Prosecutor General of Armenia, Prosecutor General’s press secretary Khristine Melkonyan wrote on Facebook: “Dear colleagues, Please be informed that today the Board’s session has been held in the Prosecutor General’s Office led by Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan. He informed the Board members that due to healthcare problems he asked the Armenian President to accept his resignation from the Prosecutor General’s post.

Gevorg Kostanyan also informed that the Armenian President accepted his resignation and starting from 04.08.2016 he puts down his duties as a Prosecutor General of Armenia. The official announcement will be released in the website of the Prosecutor General’s Office soon”.
