Private Investments Dropped by 6.5%

In the reporting period under continuous weak investment activity of economy private investments have decreased by 6.5%. It’s stated in Financial Stability Report for 2015 of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA).

Decline of investments, pursuant CBA was conditioned on the one hand by reduction of demand, and weakening of crediting of enterprises on the other. As compared to fall in private investments, state investments have reduced by 12.3%.

Under weak economic activeness loan investments allocated to economy have dropped by 3.8%. Both restrictions of loan allocation terms and procedures, as well as reduction in demand for credit have contributed to decrease in crediting.
