Armenia cannot simply cut its ties with Russia overnight: Joe Haberman and Paul Cormarie
A few days ago, the prestigious “RAND” corporation based in the U.S. published on its website an article by Joe Haberman and Paul Cormarie. The analytical piece was titled “The US cannot guarantee Armenia’s security despite threats from Azerbaijan, but it can help”.
According to the analysts, the United States should conduct a more careful strategy, both for its own interests and those of Armenia. It should provide Armenia with the means to defend itself while setting clear expectations about the limits of its obligations. The US State Department responded to the publication.
