Armenia’s Foreign Ministry Welcomes the Agreement on Syrian Issue

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia welcomes the agreement reached between US and Russia on cessation of military actions in Syria.

As “Armenpress” reports, this was stated on the ministry’s Facebook page.

“We welcome the agreement on the cessation of military actions in Syria reached between Russia and the US “the Ministry of the Foreign Affairs stated.

An agreement was reached between the United States, Russia and other partners of international support groups for Syria on the terms of ceasing military actions. A joint statement on the ceasefire was published by the US and Russia, stating that it will come into effect at 00:00 Damascus time, 27 February.
