ADP to Continue Supporting Projects in Armenia’s Various Sectors

On February 25 Armenian PM Hovik Abrahamyan received the delegation headed by Director General at Asian Development Bank and newly appointed General Director of ADB’s Central and West Asia Department Sean O’Sullivan. The delegation also included Shane Rosenthal, the newly appointed head of ADB’s office in Armenia.

Armenian PM congratulated Sean O’Sullivan and Shane Rosenthal for taking their posts and expressed confidence that Armenia-ADB 10-year efficient cooperation will get a new impetus of development by their active support. The Prime Minister highly appreciated ADB’s support in implementation of numerous projects in Armenia and thanked for each year expansion of projects’ portfolio both in public and in private sectors.

General Director of ADB’s Central and West Asia Department expressed his gratitude to Armenian PM for effective cooperation and introduced the newly appointed head of ADB’s office in Armenia Shane Rosenthal.

O’Sullivan expressed confidence that the strong partnership with Armenia will grow even more in the future, and expressed readiness on behalf of ADB to continue assistance projects in different sectors of Armenia.

The interlocutors discussed the progress of implementation of joint projects and cooperation prospects. They referred to issues on cooperation in road transport, water and wastewater; energy sectors.
