Tigran Sargsyan: Real Steps are Needed to Create Common Market

At the March 1regular meeting of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission headed by the Chairman of the Board of EEC Tigran Sargsyan discussed trade, agriculture and technical regulation issues.

Opening the meeting of the EEC Board, Tigran Sargsyan stressed that the Commission needed to take a more active position on the fostering of Eurasian integration. “Incomplete integration between partner countries in the Eurasian Economic Union is a challenge to the stability of the Union”, Chairman of the EEC Board announced.

EEC Board approved two documents necessary for the full launch of common market of medical devices in the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU): the rules of the checks (tests) to assess the biological effects of health care products and the procedure for the application of measures by the competent authorities of the EAEU Member States to suspend or ban the use of medical devices that are dangerous to the life and (or) human health, substandard, adulterated or counterfeit medical products and their withdrawal from circulation in the territories of the EAEU Member States.
