Famous American-Armenian rock musician Serj Tankian, has joined the ongoing fundraiser initiated by a group of young people to purchase apartments for thirteen homeless families in Gyumri, the second largest city of Armenia. Today the world-famous rock musician, on his Facebook page responding to Levon Barseghyan’s, head of Gyumri “Asparez” club, activist,  letter-petition, wrote it’s  a good cause by artists and fellow activists. “We have also been looking into the sub-standard living conditions of people in Gyumri and working on providing relief,” Tankian mentioned.

Note, in his letter head of “Asparez” club touched upon the initiative of a group of young fellows, within which fundraising was lunched to purchase apartments for the homeless in one of the UK websites.  Levon Barseghyan called on renowned rock musician Serj Tankian to support the initiative.

Note, a few days ago famous pianist Tigran Hamasyan also joined the initiative by a charity concert at the Fountains in Gyumri.
