Constitutional Reforms to Increase Role of Women in Armenia: Serzh Sargsyan

Armenia President Serzh Sargsyan sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of March 8. As 168.am was informed from the Department of Mass Media and Public Relations of the Armenian President’s Staff, the message particularly reads:

‘Dear women,

I congratulate you on the Women’s Day. I am sure that today you will not be lacking in congratulations from grandchildren, pupils and students, brothers, sons and husbands. Today we congratulate our women – guardians of the heat of our families and mature society.

Today, women play an important role in our country than ever. Constitutional reforms by the time will enhance this role and the bases for the mentioned above have already been laid. This, in turn, will strengthen in Armenia the guarantees of peaceful coexistence, fair work and creativity, which we believe is really a priority.

Once again I congratulate our wives, daughters and mothers in connection with the beautiful spring holiday. Let this sunny day bring light and luck to all the families.’
