Armenia continues to adhere to the peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict, Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said during the meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, reports the official website of Kremlin. “”I want to personally thank you for the efforts that Russia takes in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement,” the Armenian President said addressing Vladimir Putin.
Armenia President added that Armenia and Russia closely cooperate in political, economic, military-technical and humanitarian sectors. He noted that such cooperation is actively developing. “I also want to express my gratitude to you for the implementation of agreements reached during our previous meetings, ” Serzh Sargsyan added.
Armenia President noted that Candidates Tournament of World Chess Championship kicks off in Moscow on March 10. “As Armenian Chess Federation is the sponsor of the tournament, we will dedicate its opening to the 25th anniversary of Armenia’s independence,” he said.
Serzh Sargsyan emphasized that a big civilizational exhibition also opens in State Historical Museum of Russia. “I am convinced that Russian citizens will like the mentioned exhibition and its contribution will lead to the strengthening of the brotherhood of our peoples, “the president concluded.
