Serzh Sargsyan awards Alexander Bastyrkin the Order of Friendship

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan awarded the Order of Friendship to the chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin. Tass was informed by the Russian Investigative Committee official spokesman Vladimir Markin.

“President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan awarded Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee Alexander Bastyrkin a state award – the Order of Friendship”, he said.

The awarding ceremony was held at the Armenian Embassy in Moscow.

Bastyrkin thanked the President of Armenia and said that “he considers this award as a high assessment of the whole work of the Russian Investigative Committee, as well as recognition of the high level interaction and cooperation with law enforcement bodies of the Republic of Armenia in strengthening law and order”

The Order of Friendship is an Armenian State award, which was established on August 9, 2014. The Order of Friendship is awarded for considerable contribution to the strengthening and development of cooperation in various spheres.
