Galust Sahakyan to Spend Short-Term Vacation Abroad

President of National Assembly of Armenia Galust Sahakyan is currently on a short-term vacation, which he will spend abroad, head of the Public Relations and Media Department of the NA Arsen Babayan stated on his Facebook page. “Given the public interest, it is announced that the President of the NA Galust Sahakyan is currently on a short-term vacation, which he will spend abroad. During his private visit Galust Sahakyan will also undergo a medical examination.

The temporary acting President of the NA is Eduard Sharmazanov.

NA President’s health deteriorated at around 20:00, on February 17. He underwent medical examination in the “Heratsi” N1 hospital of Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi. The cause of the health problem was significant fluctuations in blood pressure.

Galust Sahakyan remained hospitalized until February 21.
