Finally will it Be Clarified Where are Millions of Dollars of Nairit Plant?

At today’s NA session, during question and answer Levon Zurabyan, head of ANC faction, published resolution by Levon Yolyan, RA Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, on establishing a working group regarding Nairit Plant issue.

According to him, employees of the Ministry, the Plant and Yerevan TPP will be included in the group headed by L.Shahverdyan, Yolyan’s Deputy Minister. The working group, after studying Nairit Plant condition, in short terms should submit proposals of necessary initiatives on further exploitation of the Plant.

L.Zurabyan asked which one the conceptual approach is, whether they’re going to re-exploit Nairit Plant or no, and if yes, why well-known specialists aren’t included in the working group, and whether conclusion by Jacobs Company for 2012-13, upon which all offers on re-exploitation of Nairit Plant have been submitted, isn’t out of date. Mentioning the issue of change of head of Ministry, L.Zurabyan asked whether, finally it’d be clear where did millions of dollars go.

L.Yolyan stated that the group includes people, which with their knowledge may introduce proposals for further actions, so that they’d understand to which direction Nairit should be headed to.

He also stated that currently they are negotiating with “Rostec RT-Chemcomposite” and they expect proposals on further exploitation of the plant. “We’ll operate so that it’ll contribute to our economy and people, however, groundings are needed for that,” the Minister said.
