Pope’s Visit to Armenia is Possible in the 2nd Half of June
Visit by Pope Francis to Armenia in the second half of June 2016 is possible. The Director of Holy See’s Press Office, Father Federico Lombardi told about this to Vatican Radio. He stated that organization of the visit is being currently discussed, and there is no clear program approved by the Pope himself, however, the variant of the visit in the second half of June is anticipated.
Federico Lobmbardi’s comments came after some media outlets reported the possible visit of Pope to Armenia in the period of June 22-26. He said the dates weren’t correct, and it would be best to wait for the final decision, to avoid misunderstanding.
