Azerbaijan is Ready to Become a EEU Member Country for Return of Three Regions: Uzeir Jafarov
Uzeir Jafarov, Azerbaijani military expert and military journalist, stated that “return of three regions neighboring Nagorno-Karabakh is possible,” Azerbaijani AND Press reported.
Jafarov detailed that it refers Akna (Aghdam), Varanda (Fizuli) and Mekhakavan (Jabrail) regions. Jafarov considers that Azerbaijan is ready to become a member of Eurasian Economic Union for the return of those territories and by that enter into the “game.”
Jafarov stressed, that it’s only his opinion (supposition), adding that Russia’s role is great in this deal. According to Jafarov Russia intends to deploy its peacekeeping mission in 2015.
