Question: Mr. Kocharyan, how would you comment on the statement of the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan on the step-by-step overcoming of obstacles in the path of the Nagorno-Karabakh settlement?

Shavarsh Kocharyan: The negotiations have always been conducted over the packaged settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict with step-by-step implementation of the reached agreements.

Azerbaijan should recognize the right of self-determination and the implementation of that very right by the people of Nagorno-Karabakh and thus overcome the obstacle in the path of settlement.
