Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan Agreed on Extension of OSCE Monitoring Group: Warlick
Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan have agreed on extension of the OSCE monitoring group on the contact line of troops and the Azerbaijani-Armenian border, US co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group James Warlick told RIA Novosti.
He noted that the OSCE MG co-chairs are actively working towards implementation of the commitments made by presidents during meetings in Vienna and St. Petersburg.
“It is planned to continue extensive negotiations to resolve the conflict with the involvement of senior officials from each side,” said Warlick. “Progress in the diplomatic direction is required to reduce tensions between the parties.”
