Members of the Armed Group are Waiting for Jirair Sefilian’s Final Words

It’s been a few days that Vitaly Balasanyan continues active negotiations with Jirair Sefilian, who is presently in Vardashen penitentiary, and Arayik Khandoyan (Lonely wolf), member of the armed group, who is currently in the seized police precinct.

Group member Varuzhan Avetisyan, in his turn, had a telephone conversation with Sefilian regarding laying down the weapons or further steps in case they’d continue the struggle.

Process of laying down the weapons and leaving the territory of the seized police precinct should take place with mutual agreement, on the neutral zone. Members of the armed group claimed, that correspondents of Azatutyun Radio and Armenian News and Analyses (1in.am) were present during the operations.

Gunmen are waiting for Jirair Sefilian’s final words: the latter should say his final words—lay down the weapons and surrender or continue the struggle? Based on information at the disposal of 168.am, to all probabilities, the issue will be finally settled.

Street struggle, despite the announced gathering, has been cancelled for unknown reasons, the majority of the leaders on the platform have been detained, and Albert Baghdasaryan stated today, that he won’t head the Coordinating Council.
