Social protection sector expenditures to comprise around AMD 409 bln next year
Expenditures of social protection sector will comprise AMD 408 billion 985.5 million in 2017, which, as compared to ongoing year, is more by AMD 3 billion 822.6 million. Atom Janjughazyan, First Deputy Minister of Finance, said during the Parliamentary debates of the 2017 state budget.
In his words, AMD 24 billion 323.7 million will be allocated by “Pensions for military officers and their family members,” which is more by AMD 1.2 billion. This growth is conditioned by the growth of the number in pensions—by 1759 persons. AMD 634.9 is anticipated by pensions of soldiers, and for working pensions—AMD 223 billion 469.5 million.
Janjughazyan stated that expenditure by “Investment of accumulative pension system” program is AMD 28 688.1 million is anticipated, as compared to AMD 26 760.4 million for 2016. Growth of expenditures is conditioned by increase in the number of accumulative system participants by 13400 persons or 176200 persons are anticipated under 2.4% growth of average salary of the participants.
AMD 13 billion 958.5 million expenditure is anticipated for social allocations, which is less by AMD 150 million, as compared to ongoing year.
The Deputy Minister stated that in 2017 average family allocation will comprise AMD 31442.2, as compared to this year’s AMD 30537.6, number of welfare recipients comprises 104 685 families.
