Gazprom Armenia submits tariff revision request to PSRC
“Gazprom Armenia” has submitted a request to the Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia to revise the gas tariffs for consumers. PSRC spokesperson Mariam Stepanyan told “Armenpress” the commission requires time to check the compatibility of the request to defined norms, in accordance to the regulation.
“Only after carrying out the verifications needed for us, we will announce about discussions,” she said.
Under the submitted request, the gas tariff for consumers using up to 10 thousand cubic meters of gas a month will be set to 139 AMD for each cubic meter, including VAT.
The present tariff is 146.7 AMD. For families benefiting from social welfares, the tariff will be set to 100AMD for each cubic meter – reducing by 46.7 AMD.
