Discriminative policy against ethnic minorities is part of state policy in Azerbaijan: Vigen Sargsyan
The request of an Azerbaijani citizen Shahin Mirzoev asking for temporary asylum from the Armenian leadership is another proof of the fact that the discriminative policy against ethnic minorities still remains a state policy in the neighboring country, Armenia’s Defense Minister Vigen Sargsyan told reporters.
“By receiving such request from the Azerbaijani citizen we have immediately discussed it and came to a conclusion that we have no grounds to reject that request,” the Minister said.
He informed that, Armenia, in cooperation with international structures, will do everything possible to protect the rights of the Azerbaijani citizen and find a permanent shelter for him.
