The sides discussed the preparatory works of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan’s visit to the Brussels. Nalbandian and Mogherini also discussed the negotiations process on a new legal document between Armenia and the EU, hoping to conclude the negotiations in the near future.
“The Russian Foreign Ministry deeply regrets to announce that Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Vitaly Ivanovich Churkin has died suddenly in New York on February 20, a day ahead of his 65th birthday,” the ministry said. “The outstanding Russian diplomat died in harness,” the Ministry said.
“Our position is clear for everyone – normalization of relations with Turkey without any preconditions. We had this understanding in mind when we launched talks and reached some agreements… “
