Serzh Sargsyan and Karen Karapetyan not to be involved in RPA proportional list
President of Armenia and RPA Serzh Sargsyan won’t lead the RPA proportional list. As Eduard Sharmazanov, Vice President of the National Assembly of Armenia, said after the Executive body meeting of the party it’s the decision of RPA president.
According to him PM Karen Karapetyan won’t be involved in the list either, and the reason is already known—it’s linked to his residence.
“Our list is rather competitive, it’s comprised of 64 people, where both intellectuals and acting MPs may be found. We consider by such list RPA has big opportunity to record serious success during the upcoming elections,” Sharmazanov said.
