9 political powers to bid for parliamentary mandates in Armenia

9 political powers have submitted applications for running in the upcoming parliamentary elections of Armenia.

4 of the political powers are alliances, the other 5 are parties. The Republican Party of Armenia, Armenian Revolutionary Federation (Dashnaktsutyun), Armenian Renaissance, Free Democrats and Armenian Communist Party have submitted applications to the Central Electoral Commission. Tsarukyan, Elk, ANC- People’s Party of Armenia and Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanyan alliances have submitted their applications.

Parliamentary elections will take place on April 2, 2017. Electoral campaign will kick off on March 5.
