Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Arthur Aleksanyan and 47 April war participants awarded with “Haykyan” special prize

Midfielder of Armenia national football team and “Manchester United” club Henrikh Mkhitaryan gas been awarded with “Haykyan” special prize. Mkhitaryan was awarded for his signiùcant contribution to the development of Armenian football and for popularizing Armenian sports.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan thanked for the award by a video message and wished the new generation of Armenia implementation of goals which can become possible due to talent and hard work. Olympic champion, Greco-Roman wrestler Arthur Aleksanyan was also awarded with “Haykyan” special prize for his signiùcant contribution to the development of Armenian sports and devotion.

Aleksanyan mentioned that he is very honored for being awarded. He added that he is always ready to uphold the honor of Armenia. In addition, 47 participants of the 4-day April war, some of whom posthumously, were also awarded with “Haykyan” prize.
