“Evidence of Armenian President’s speech is Azerbaijan’s today’s losses”

Azerbaijan, committed to its criminal policy, escalates the situation in the line of contact by using the chance that Armenia enters a stage of electoral processes. The Azerbaijani side thinks that this is a good chance to escalate the situation which is a criminal intention, Eduard Sharmazanov, Deputy Speaker of Armenia’s Parliament, said in an interview with “Armenpress”, commenting on the Azerbaijani offensive attempt launched in the Nagorno Karabakh-Azerbaijan line of contact overnight February 25.

“In a meeting with the commanding staff of the Armed Forces, the President of Armenia already gave a response to such behavior and stated that no any internal political process can impact the combat readiness of the Armed Forces. The evidence of the President’s speech is Azerbaijan’s today’s losses. The entire responsibility of the losses of the Azerbaijani side falls on that country’s Aliyev clan,” Sharmazanov said, adding that the international community must issue addressed statement on this and call the things accordingly.
