Levon Yolyan to become Chairman of the Control Chamber
Speaker of the Parliament of Armenia Galust Sahakyan announced suspending the powers of Chairman of the Control Chamber Ishkhan Zakaryan. During the parliament session, Speaker Sahakyan said 15-day period of Ishkhan Zakaryan’s resignation letter was expired.
“Based on the rules of procedure of the Parliament, Ishkhan Zakaryan’s powers are suspended,” he said. He also informed that President Serzh Sargsyan proposed the candidacy of Levon Yolyan for the post of the Chairman of the Control Chamber.
Ishkhan Zakaryan submitted resignation letter. He is going to head the campaign headquarters of “Tsarukyan” alliance in the upcoming parliamentary election
