Georgian citizens enabled to travel to EU visa free from March 28
The foreign ministry of Georgia said the Official Journal of the European Union published the regulation changes, which includes Georgia in the list of countries visiting the EU without visas.
“The visa free regime with EU countries will contribute to the development of tourism, deepening of business ties and boosting student exchange programs,” the Georgian Foreign Ministry said.
According to the Ministry the regulation will come into force 20 days after publication – March 28. It said Georgian citizens living in South Ossetia and Abkhazia can visit EU countries without visas.
