“Election campaign has already kicked off and the first reactions of international organizations show that we succeeded in creating conditions for an electoral process meeting the international standards,” President Sargsyan stressed.
“We received nearly 20 thousand people from Syria. The majority of them are our compatriots but there are also representatives of other Christian minorities. We implemented a program for their fast intergration, granted them citizenship and all the necessary documents,” the Defense Minister said.
“Another agreement was reached over installing mechanisms investigating ceasefire violations in the conict zone and expanding the number of OSCE observers.”
“Today I would like to express my satisfaction with the key contribution the MGIMO has had in preparing cadres for the Republic of Armenia who applied and continue to apply their knowledge gained in this key educational institution,” Serzh Sargsyan said.
“Armenia’s authorities touch upon restoration of diplomatic ties with Turkey on the level of ministers, the president, accepting even the fact that Turkey doesn’t ratify Armenia-Turkey records.”
