Art In Contrast To Cluster Bombs. Fundraiser Auction “Art For Armenia”

On Saturday, October 24, a fundraiser auction launched in support of civilians of Nagorno-Karabakh affected by military actions. The auction is conducted online and will continue until November 7 22:00 (GMT+3).

The “Art For Armenia” auction presents works of 125 renowned and promising artists from Armenia, Russia, USA, France, Israel, Hungary and Belarus, as well as paintings by children from Nagorno-Karabakh. Their artworks will not only become a decoration for any interior, but also a humanitarian aid for the local citizens affected by military actions.

According to the initiative group, from the first hours of launching the project, it received a tremendous response among artists from all over the world who donate their best works.

All the proceeds from sales of artworks will be transferred to the Hayastan All Armenian Fund – the biggest fund in Armenia, which has completed over 1300 projects in Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh in the spheres of Education, Healthcare, Infrastructure and Agriculture Development since 1992.

“When innocent people are standing on the brink of a humanitarian and ecological collapse, it’s impossible to stand aside. Deeply empathizing with people affected by hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh, we want to rise above the sorrow together and give hope in a peaceful, happy life to children and adults”, as mentioned on the page of the project.
